Daily Routines

​

Take some time to determine how your classroom is set up and how you will develop your class routines.  Consider the following:

 

• Instrument storage

• Instrument sharing

• Cleaning and hygiene

• Mouthpiece and reed distribution

• Music folders, books and sheet music organization

 

Determine how to start and end each class with consideration to:

 

• Follow the same procedure every time

• Practices of setting up, getting instrument and music ready

• Use a REST POSITION while not playing

• Put away everything at the end of class
