ABOUT THIS RESOURCE
The Beginning Band Basics resource has been developed by the Regional Representative Committee of the Ontario Band Association.
The purpose of this document is to provide band directors with some ideas, information and grab and go resources that you can use with your beginning bands as you start young musicians who may be in an instrumental music class, club or extracurricular music activity.
This first section of this resource focuses on information starting from before classes begin to students playing their first five notes within an ensemble.
