We now know the likelihood of in-person large ensemble rehearsals will not happen for the foreseeable future. As such, we must look to other music-making opportunities for our students to ensure their continued interest and engagement. Small ensembles are an incredibly rich source of collaboration, leadership, and musicianship, and can be done in a variety learning environments. With extensive instrumental teaching, curriculum design, and small ensemble delivery experience, Mary Ann Fratia will present a diverse set of small ensemble pathways ideal for multiple music-making contexts, and will lead an interactive conversation and Q&A with online participants.
