In 2020, the OBA launched a mapping project as part of our concerted effort to reach band teachers from all school boards and regions across our province. We appointed eight OBA regional representatives who are now working to: (1) identify and contact band educators across each region; (2) organize and deliver the OBA Listening Tour - one online session per region - for teachers to join us in conversation so that we might learn more about your work, programs, needs, and concerns; (3) identify private instrumental educators across each region toward a publicly accessible province-wide database.
